What Is Demulsifier?
A demulsifier is a chemical that separates water from fuel by breaking the emulsion that holds water droplets suspended in diesel. Water in diesel causes injector damage, microbial growth, and corrosion. Demulsifiers in fuel additives like Fuel Ox cause water to coalesce and settle to the bottom of the tank where it can be drained, protecting the fuel system from water-related damage.
