What Is CFPP?
CFPP is the lowest temperature at which diesel fuel can pass through a standard filter without clogging. It's the most important metric for predicting diesel fuel gelling in cold weather. ULSD typically has a CFPP around 0°F to -10°F without additives. Fuel Ox Cold Charge lowers CFPP to -40°F, preventing filter plugging and fuel line freezing in winter fleet operations.
