What Is Anti-Gel Additive?
An anti-gel additive is a fuel treatment that prevents diesel fuel from gelling (solidifying) in cold temperatures. Anti-gel additives work by modifying the size and shape of paraffin wax crystals, preventing them from interlocking and forming a gel. They lower the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) and pour point, keeping fuel flowing through filters and lines in winter. Fuel Ox Cold Charge provides anti-gel protection down to -40°F.
